Who is Charles Nida?
I am husband, father, grandfather, gospel songwriter, and entertainer. I try every day to do my best, and pray Christ will help me do better whenever I fall short.
Where it all started...
My mom was a piano teacher from the age of twelve. I heard music from the time I was a babe in diapers crawling around under my mom’s piano bench. Music was “in my blood” from the time I drew my first breath. As a young man, I felt the call of God on my life to be a Christian songwriter. My prayer is that my songs on this website will move and inspire you to a closer walk with Christ.
Charles' Music Career
I have played guitar more than 50 years, worked as a musician since 2010, playing over 3300 hours of paid music events, writing a multitude of songs, and recording 3 cd’s with the help of the amazing Carter Green and Greenjeans Studio. I appreciate all the fans, friends and wonderful people I have met along the way.
Charles Today
At the present time I am providing opening worship for several services a week as a member of the worship staff of my local church. I have also been visiting churches to share my music and cd’s. In addition to church work and my music promotional activities, I am a performing artist of popular music programs for seniors at nursing homes and assisted living centers.
